During April we are partnering with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
Devonshire would like to encourage you to partner with the Central Pennsylvania FCA through one of these three ways:
Opportunity #1: Bibles — Wouldn’t it be great to be a part of putting a Bible into the hands of someone who doesn’t yet have one? FCA would love to be able to have the opportunity to do just that! During the first three weeks of this month you can give towards Bibles being purchased that will go to student athletes and coaches in our region. If you would like to do this, please put in the brown envelope and write FCA Bibles on it.
Opportunity #2: Scholarships — Scholarships for athletes to go to sports camp, leadership camp, and retreats are also a great way to support FCA’s ministry. On April 26, we will take a special offering designated to providing scholarships for student athletes to participate in FCA’s ministry events.
Opportunity #3: Service — How can you serve with FCA? FCA needs more board members, committee chairs for single sport ministry events... power camps, day of champions, game days, coaches clinics. If there is any idea for a way to use sports to share the Good News of Jesus with athletes, coaches or sport fans, we can do it with a team of people committed to see it through. FCA’s mission is to present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
