God has given each of us the opportunity to partner with him in the greatest work of all: kingdom work. As stewards of his resources, we have a choice. We can sow the seed or we can lock it away out of fear.
Even though we know we should give a portion of our income to God, fear often stands in the way of generosity. And when we let it, this fear has the potential to rob us of an intimate relationship with God. Worse yet, fear can cause us to handle our finances in a way that locks him out completely.
But when we give God what is rightfully his, we acknowledge his power and greatness, opening ourselves up to limitless joy and peace that comes from trusting him.
