60-Minute Workout
 
Are you ready for something different in your spiritual fitness regimen? Something that can use your Easter energy and do something that will take your spiritual vitality to a new level? The 60-Minute Workout may be just what the Doctor orders!
 
60-Minute Workout is designed to help you become better acquainted with God’s Word through actual and examining the historical background and culture of the author and his world. The Workout will also help you experience what it looks like for the Bible to direct your prayer life. The format is simple:
 
¨  5 Minutes: Bible Background (Information about the selected reading)
¨  30 Minutes: Reading from Scriptures (Everyone who cares to will get to read a portion of Scripture aloud. Or, you can just come and listen)
¨  10 Minutes: Personal Meditation & Prayer
¨  15 Minutes: Corporate Prayer
 
The selected books of the Bible will be Acts and Hebrews. Reading Acts will help you gain an understanding of how the Church was supernaturally birthed and how it emerged into an incredible force despite widespread persecution. Hebrews will show how Christ is the greater fulfillment of the people and systems revered in the Old Testament.  Both books are perfect for this seasons which leads us to Pentecost Sunday (May 31).
 
Join Janis Creason and Pastor Todd as they facilitate this Workout. They believe that the 60-Minutes Workout will help you know God better so that you might love Him more everyday and love others a little bit better.
