Sunday School Electives
On Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. come and plug into one of the following classes in which we dig deeper into Scripture so that we can apply it to our lives and know Christ more.
Here are the current electives:
The Women's Class in Christ— "Sermon on the Mount"
Are you hungry for God's word? Come us as we continue our expositional study of the Sermon on the Mount. This is an in-depth exegetical study - we usually only cover a few verses each week, going deep into the context, meaning, and deeper implications. It's amazing how radical Christ's words truly are!
Senior's Class— "Peter, Learning to Be Like Jesus"
Simon Peter was a follower just like us – he wanted to be like Jesus, but he struggled with doubts, and at times he failed. At other times God used him powerfully. These studies on his life challenge and motivate us to continue to grow in Christlikeness.
Elective— "Jonah, Joel and Amos"
In today's world it's easy to wander away from God. Hectic schedules and the quest for success often mean that time with God gets neglected.But if you slow down long enough to listen, the minor prophets can have a major impact on the quality of your life. These studies will help you focus on your number one priority--to seek the Lord and live!
